We picked one of our ideas and decided to run with it. It took us a week to have a working prototype and another couple of weeks to get that into the hands of testers. Overall, we deployed v1.0 some 2 months of part time work later. We designed and built a scalable back-end to consumer, aggregate and process various social media sources for the client app. Based on various feedback, we modified the app slightly for v2.0, focusing more on locations and allowing a user to revisit locations even if they weren't there. This was a tough roller coaster ride of product design choices and being challenged with unknowns and unknown domains. We applied for AngelCube based on this idea, and was accepted, but due to circumstances, we had to turn the place down.
