My role included visual and usability design, data modeling and prep and building the web interface and layout to provide bright and clear interactive charts and integrated help.On June 30, 2021 I retired from SAS to focus on personal projects as well as passion projects using my skills to help others.

Services include solutions architecture and design, full-stack web application development using Ruby on Rails or Spring MVC, data analysis and data aggregation, and rule engine design and implementation.- Architecture and design support for healthcare decision support processing. Developed prototype web applications to explore alternatives.- Helping a university build an online education site called a MOOC for (Massive Open Online Course), using an open source platform called edX. The work includes applying the theming, branding and desired look and feel, using Ansible and Vagrant for deployment/ maintenance on Amazon Web Services and applicable updates/ fixes for the platform.

Development of tools for Cisco services enablement. The tools provide for data collection from Cisco customer networks, rules based analysis and reporting designed to support Cisco engineers in providing services and support. - Worked on project to convert current tools for Unified Communications and Video to utilize common components to common collector and secure data transfer. Responsibilities included technical strategy development, the development of detailed technical requirements needed to support current collection, proto-typing the design in the lab and providing assistance to the common component development team. This assistance included both technical use case and working code to incorporate in the product.- Worked in team developing proof of concepts in Ruby on Rails and Groovy on Grails/ Flex adapter components in Java and Perl leading to production deployment of tools for new Cisco services.- Worked in architecture team and developed next gen proposal and strategy recommendations for IC capture and rules based analysis. Created prototype utilizing Java Struts, ANTLR, and Drools to demonstrate approach.
