Manage specialties including, acoustics, audiovisual, digital media content creation, lighting, IT, security, show control and room automation, theater planning, and theater consulting. Currently provide articles, blogs, white papers, and technical journals as a paid and volunteer writing contributor for national and international digital magazine platforms, several national and print media outlets such as rAVe Publications, Chief Information Officer Magazine, CIO Tech Review, Architect Magazine, and other high-volume trade publications such as Theater Design and Technology, System Contractor News, and Stage Directions. Write monthly blog posts on different topics including live events, technology and sustainability, theater design and technology, AR/VR, IoT, and more. Furthermore, I write for a variety of organizations such as AVIXA and The United States for Theater Technology.Highlights of accomplishments include:• Have written and presented white papers on topics including the use of AR/VR in the design process, returning to opening in live entertainment and museums post-pandemic, and developing the classroom of the future.• Served as an Editor for TD&T over the last 12 years, 10 of which were for architecture, and the past 2 years for digital media content creation and digital media design relating to performing arts, etc.

This venture established as a partnership with Westlake Reed Leskosky as a company to capture missed opportunities in the A/E space, which was accomplished by developing a stand-alone Small Business Enterprise to accommodate requirements for the specialty services we provided as part of the Request for Proposal process. These efforts allowed the company to work in a non-competitive manner with outside architecture firms as a super consultant, while providing a primary focus on development of technology driven systems with sustainability as a key focus. Directed a team of technical and design specialists with a mission to deliver smart and environmentally friendly solutions, while adhering to best practices, green design, and lean design strategies. Additionally, oversaw operations for the group and provided technology consulting for the performing and cultural arts, corporate, healthcare, government, and educational markets, specializing in the areas of audiovisual, acoustics, information transport, lighting, intelligent building technology, and theater technology.Highlights of accomplishments include:• Increased business opportunities by paralleling the Innovative Technology Design Group into a separate and independent entity in partnership with Westlake Reed Leskosky. ◦ Became a "Super Group / Super Consultant" after recognition of successful collaborations with numerous business partners, including premiere global architects such as Foster and Partners, Cooper Carry, Leo A. Daly, Perkins & Will on projects up to $500M in construction value. ◦ Provided value to design partners as a qualified Small Business Enterprise enhancing opportunities in fulfilling SBE requirements within declared contracts.• The Sustainable Technologies Group was acquired alongside Westlake Reed Leskosky to DLR Group due to the successful practices within our business model.

Founded and managed the Innovative Technology Design Group in close collaboration with the ownership of Westlake Reed Leskosky, facilitating an in-house suite of specialty disciplines creating strategic market business development for new and existing market channels. Oversaw all aspects of design and specification for high-end technologies in the entertainment, corporate, healthcare, government, and educational environments. Attracted, retained, supervised, and mentored multiple design disciplines across multiple offices, including Cleveland (HQ), Phoenix, Washington DC, NYC, Shanghai, and Los Angeles. In addition, engaged and collaborated closely with design team partners by aiding with daily tasks, in addition to offering expertise and insights as needed.Highlights of accomplishments include:• Improved net service revenue increasing overall firm profitability, developed an industry first suite of in-house disciplines to minimize challenges of working with outside consultants, improved document coordination, and overall project financial success, reduced construction change orders, and improved overall client satisfaction.• Led technology design over core Innovative Technology Design Group disciplines for multiple accounts simultaneously ranging in construction value from $500K to $100M.
