I am a Research Fellow with hands-on experience in molecular and cellular biology. My main research has been focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying the aging process with the ultimate goal of improving health in old age and ameliorating age-related diseases. I am currently working with small nucleolar RNA (snoRNAs) effect in translation and their role in the progression of metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD) and type 2 diabetes.
