I'm an honest, hardworking, proficient individual who works well under pressure. I have more than thirteen years of experience as a Buyer and worked for Engineering companies such as KSB Pumps and Valves, Current Electric, a Division of Actom Engineering, and Total Mining. My strengths lie in my good negotiation skills and financial background as I also worked as a Creditors Clerk while being a Buyer at KSB Pumps and Spar South Rand's head office. I completed a certificate in Basic Bookkeeping and Intermediate Bookkeeping at Birnam Business College, where I was a full-time student for a year in 1999. I worked in a stressful environment while being a single mother of two.When my son was two years old, I felt I was depriving him of my attention as it went to my studies. So to be a mother to my child, I put my Bcom Purchasing on hold where I was studying at Unisa. I vowed to work my way to the top as a Buyer, and I successfully achieved my dream.I am passionate about helping others and embarked on a new adventure. I started an NGO in Arts and Culture, where I also do Motivational Speaking at high schools in poor communities, Churches, shelters, and Women's Events or Conferences.Unfortunately, with the economy being so bad and the cost of living so high, I have little choice but to join the corporate world again in search of a job. My many years of experience in the Engineering and Manufacturing Industry have equipped me with the skills I need to be an excellent, proactive Buyer and Creditors Clerk. Working in poor communities or at Events as a Motivational Speaker has given me the confidence needed to get along with all diverse people, especially in the workplace.
