- Month-end financial close and producing monthly management dashboards on IB&M’s performance, looking across multiple lens (P&L and profitability metrics, balance sheet, product performance and capital), and presenting key drivers and insights to the IB&M CFO and IB&M LT- Producing quarterly CEO Briefing Packs and half-year/ year-end external disclosures, including IB&M’s divisional performance reporting in the Profit Announcement and Investor Discussion Packs- Producing ad hoc analysis and insights, including peer banks benchmarking analysis on the institutional divisions- Financial management of ‘CommBank iQ’ (a data analytics joint venture between CBA and Quantium), including business partnering support to a variety of stakeholders- Financial controller responsibilities for the Finance Centre division

- Regular and ad-hoc reporting and analysis on the drivers of IB&M's business performance, looking across multiple lens such as: profitability, key performance indicators, cost drivers, capital efficiency and risk-adjusted performance.- Peer banks benchmarking analysis, focusing on the institutional banking and global markets businesses of domestic and international banks.- Other ad hoc analysis, such as deep dives and opportunity recommendations on cost saving initiatives, and financial modelling of potential strategic initiatives.

Ownership across a number of responsibilities:- Delivery of monthly deliverables, such as month-end Flash results, Executive Dashboards and Expense Trend reporting- Delivery of external reporting deliverables, such as the Profit Announcement Divisional Performance, internal assurance packs and investor relations slides- Financial controller responsibilities, such as monthly balance sheet substantiation sign-offs and periodic review of risk profiles of assigned account balances and spot checks on reconciliation quality- Managing a medium sized team, utilising effectively people management and leadership skills.

- Managed the Group’s monthly Funded Balance Sheet process, including chairing the monthly Working Group Meeting and presenting at the Working Assets and Liabilities Committee.- Managed Group Finance’s relationship with the Investor Relations team, including coordinating the preparation of the external Analyst Presentation Pack, internal Q&A Slides and ASX Announcements.- Ownership of some of the more complex sections of the Profit Announcement and Annual Report, including the calculation and analysis of Key Performance Indicators, Shareholder Return Metrics, the Group Balance Sheet, and Market Share Statistics.- Managed one direct report (graduate) and one indirect report (manager), while also informally led peers to deliver on various team deliverables, chaired team meetings and facilitated strategy discussions.

May 2011 - Jan 2015: - Initially responsible for the planning, preparation and review of various deliverables, including the monthly CFO Report and balance sheet reconciliations, the half-yearly Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) document and 144A US Debt Issuance prospectus, and the annual Budgets and Strategy process.- After being promoted, had the opportunity to train up and indirectly manage an offshore team (of two staff) to take on the process work of deliverables, including a secondment to the Delhi office to manage the transition.Jan 2015 - Apr 2015: - Secondment to Corporate and Asset Finance Lending for a systems implementation project, involving the automation of management dashboards and portfolio analytics within the 'IBM Cognos TM1' system.Apr 2015 - Oct 2015:- After a team restructure, the role changed to a more specialist focus on financial modelling, valuation and analysis, including assessing the feasibility of various M&A transactions, conducting internal business reviews and valuations, and presenting the analysis to senior management.

Involved with the Group’s year end, including preparing financial statements and analytical reviews, impairments testing of subsidiaries, responding to auditors’ queries and liaising with business unit contacts.

Responsible for daily reconciliation of trading system positions, confirming material new deals with Middle Office and Trading Desk, and preparing three daily P&Ls (Metals, Energy Capital, and Hedging).

Involved in the half-yearly redemptions process for ‘Reflexion’ fund product, including reconciling prepaid interest, loan balances, units redeemed and calculating expected net inflows to Macquarie.

Involved in the deconsolidation and sale of the real estate platform to Charter Hall, including arranging intercompany settlements, posting deconsolidation journals and cleaning up entity balance sheets.

Assisted in the compilation and review of the Group and standalone financial statements, approving cost centre requests, monthly late journal register, monthly P&L, balance sheet and investment reconciliations.

Assisted in audits across numerous industry sectors (e.g. railway freight, hotels, construction and education).
