These structures could be shelving, rack, pick modules or mezzanines and catwalks. Compiled bills of materials, obtained quotes from vendors and wrote purchase orders.

Provide engineering support for large complex storage rack projects including selective, push back and pallet flow rack for distribution warehouses, pick modules with integrated conveyor and rack for specialized document storage installations. Required to have solid knowledge of current building code requirements, rack design specifications and structural analysis software.

Had the responsibility for all structural design and project engineering. Designed a wide variety of rack structures for pallet storage including mezzanines, pick modules, cantilever and drive-in rack. Investigated rack collapses and product failures to determine cause and responsibility. Continually work with plant personnel in developing prototypes and resolving manufacturing issues related to production processes and material usage.

In charge of engineering group for the storage products division of L&P. Responsible for design and analysis as well as production and installation drawings of fabricated storage rack for retail and warhouse operations.
