Houston, Texas

In this role, I conducted risk analysis, design, and helped developed & executed installation procedures for Wellbore Completion programs. I coordinated data gathering for equipment requirements, while collaborating with Tech Brokers to ensure appropriate applications of their technologies. I regularly interfaced between suppliers and internal teams to ensure components met strength and anti-corrosion requirements and served as a subject matter expert to other business units to assist with components selection and optimize designs. Was tasked with the responsibility to build and lead training courses in the United States and to international audiences in West Africa and Asia on topics such as Sand Control and Completion Fundamentals & Design.

Johannesburg, South Africa

In this role I was the operations lead for a $60M Sub-Saharan Africa entity, with team of four direct reports, providing technical and engineering support. I initiated quarterly budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes and managed business inventory and assets, developing and implementing operational plans. I held regional profit and loss responsibility. I also supported our bid and tendering process, and negotiated and administered contracts.

Dammam, Saudi Arabia

In this role, I provided engineering and technical leadership to the Saudi Arabian operations, coordinating completion tools, liner hangers, expandable and standard sand screen product lines. I managed a team of ten staff, and held profit and loss responsibility for the overall product line. I supported the engineering functions by conducting root cause analyses on failures and designing and implementing solutions. I supervised the tendering process, including the coordination of tender profit and loss analysis, design plans, and specifications for bid documents.

Dammam, Saudi Arabia & Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom

In this role, I led business development efforts and bid responses for technical projects across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East regions, assisting with the tender and technical presentations. I conducted high level design reviews, creating wellbore schematics, installation procedure documentation, and leading training on the functionality of the equipment. I interfaced between marketing needs and the design engineering team, identifying specific opportunities and assessing alignment with corporate offerings. I also trained and mentored a sales team of up to ten staff, and developed training and sales material for in-country engineers to gather local marketing intelligence for future bid opportunities. I generated a business plan that fostered the implementation of BJ Services completion tools and technology being introduced to the Middle East region.
