I do photography in my spare time. Photography gives me an escape, at times, from an overwhelming world that is constantly buzzing around us. Not to mention, it provides another way to connect with people.

I was the Summer 2019 Communication Intern for the wonderful Tennesse State Museum. I attended mandatory state trainings, completed basic clerical work, as well as video content creation/curation.

I excelled in my position as a Graduate Administrative Assistant for the Department of Nursing at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. •I assisted daily with adminstrative tasks including making copies, running errands, assisting any professor that needed it, ect.•I monitored department email accounts, and responded to emails referring to a new program that is being created. •I recorded and transcribed minutes during bi-weekly, and monthly department meetings. •I also helped with paperwork alongside the Graduate Coordinator, who was in the beginning stages of seeking accreditation for a Masters of Nursing program.

I had the incredible opportunity to be a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Communication Department. More specifically, I worked for the on-campus radio station, "The Voice of Austin Peay, Clarksville's 91.9 FM." •I created campus and community related PSAs that aired on the station throughout each day, and every week. •I contributed to a community outreach program in which I sought out unique individuals in the community to interview for 91.9's public affairs programming, which aired on both APSU-TV—the official campus television station—and in audio form over-air. •I assisted students in editing labs with basic inquiries, including assisting with finding where certain features were within editing programs. •At the end of each week day, I made sure the station and applicable department labs were locked down for safety, including making sure all labs were re-organized and clean for the next class session(s). Looking forward, I hope to find a similar job in the field.

•I was a host for the APSU-TV show, Austin's Angels, during the Fall Semester of 2016.•I performed vocally by reading script on camera, ad-libbing in studio and in the field, and I also worked closely with the other hosts to create the script. •I helped with creating/editing packages, as well as creating segments. •I am extremely proud of taking over the social media pages for the show during my reign as host, and again when it was re-branded upon my re-entry as a graduate student the following semester.

I placed ad stickers and papers on shelves, merchandise, and end caps until the store went out of business.
