Provide supervision and guidance to bargaining unit employees. Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are followed, and that safety rules and OSHA regulations are observed at all times by all employees. Provide guidance on equipment and product problems that occur on the shift. Schedule employees and assign maintenance tasks. Record, file, and maintain employee attendance records. Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance employees in order to effectively and efficiently install, maintain, repair, and/or replace packaging and manufacturing equipment. Provide engineering support to improve function, performance, and reliability of packaging and manufacturing equipment.

Maintain packaging lines and manufacturing equipment, perform preventative maintenance, assure safe and proper operation of all packaging and manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot and repair machinery in the event of a breakdown, set up packaging lines for different size bottles, startup lines for new jobs, assist with Engineering projects, PLC programming, HMI programming, perform equipment calibrations and perform all other tasks needed.

Troubleshooting PLC’s in a manufacturing environment, hydraulics, pneumatics, motor controls A/C frequency drives, D/C variable speed drives, servo drives, PLC programming, HMI design, solid-state electronics, networking, Preventative and Predicative Maintenance, control panel layout, running rigid conduit, welding and mechanical maintenance.

Troubleshooting PLC's in a manufacturing environment, Preventative and Predicative Maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, motor controls, frequency drives, servo drives, PLC programming, HMI design, solid state electronics, welding and mechanical maintenance.

Building and wiring electronic control panels, designing control panel layouts, testing and troubleshooting, industrial wiring, and overseeing projects in the field.

Commercial, industrial, and communications wiring, power line, substation, and control panel construction.
