2014-2015Resident Engineer on the 134MW Amakhala Wind Farm, Bedford, South Africa. The contract comprised of the instalation of 56no. Nordex N117-2.4MW wind turbines, associated civil road and concrete works, a new substation and cable reticulation works.Responsible for managing all civil engineering works on behalf of the EPC contractor, overseeing QA/QC processes, handover and signing off of works.

2014 Owner’s Engineer / Client’s Representative at the Bakras Wind Farm, Hatay, Turkey. The contract comprised of the extension of the existing Bakras Energy facility; by installing 7no. Vestas V112-3.3MW wind turbines. This addition increased the installed power of the Bakras Wind Farm to a total of 38 MW. Responsible for protecting the client’s interest and overseeing the turbine installations, commissioning and testing, handover and signoff. 2013-2014Full time Site Manager / Owner’s Engineer at the 100MW Dorper Wind Farm, Molteno, South Africa. The contract comprised of installing 40no. Nordex N100-2.5MW wind turbines, associated Civil road and concrete work, a new 132kV substation and cable reticulation works. Responsible for overseeing all construction works as the Clients Representative and ensuring the project is constructed in accordance with the contracted programme, design, H&S and Environmental Acts, ISO 9001 Quality standards, EMP, EIA and statutory requirements; and ensuring overall project compliance with contractual obligations and ensuring project reaches COD on time, budget and to specification.
