• Job Tasks: Troubleshooting any and all electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mission equipment, weapon systems and cooling systems of all variants of the Stryker family.Reading and understanding blue prints and all schematics.Performing an initial inspection to verify installation of all parts, verify there is no leaks and fix any defects that are found.Perform/test and systems in a static state to verify all function before driving yhe vehicle.Perform all dynamic testing on the test track and fording tank.• Working on lean six sigma projects.• Creating non-conformance red tags for faulty equipment.• Working with engineers on discrepancies.• Working with our production line when issues arise and providing feedback to ensure it does not happen again.• Using power point when needed for presentations.• Working with DCMA and TACOM inspectors to provide a quality Stryker to the Army. • Training new personnel to do their assigned tasks.• Completing the Final Inspection Record that logs all the information from the tests we complete. Reading through Operation Manuals for installation of components that are replaced. • Tools used: Basic mechanic tools, specialty tools, custom made tools to make a job easier( lean six sigma projects), digital multimeter, micrometers, straight edges, soldering iron, cable repair kit, levels, tape measures, laptops, stop watches and digital measuring wheels. Also various test equipment that is specific to a certain variant of the Stryker. • Certifications: Stryker driver certified, Overhead crane, jib crane and IPC cable repair.• Awards/Recognition: Received multiple recognition awards for completing tasks ahead of schedule.
