I am a recent graduate of UC Santa Barbara's Bren School of Environmental Science and Management Masters (MESM) program. My work focuses on leveraging various environmental data science tools to solve technical conservation and sustainability issues. These include programming machine learning models, statistical tests, and remote sensing/spatial analysis. Specific tools I work with are R/R Studio, Python/VSCode, GitHub, QGIS, SQL. My graduate work involved heavy spacial analysis to model project costs of salmon habitat restoration for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). I also recently designed a study to strengthen biosecurity protocols and created various statistical models to identify primary threats to Santa Cruz Island for for The Nature Conservancy (TNC). I hold degrees from UC Santa Cruz in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (B.S.) and Environmental Studies (B.A.). When I am not coding, I enjoy surfing, rock climbing, backpacking, and paragliding on my free time.
