As part of NRCan's space weather department, I created a probabilistic model which would determine the likelihood of light, moderate, or severe GNSS scintillation based on geomagnetic activity, and will act as the first step towards a complete scintillation forecast.

Received a second NSERC award, and continued the work done during the previous summer with Olga Trichtchenko. The primary focus was analyzing a method for producing approximations of Wilton Ripple solutions of a family of nonlinear differential equations relating to water waves. Significant work was also done on evaluating data assimilation methods on solutions of the nonlinear Schrodinger equation.

Received an NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award from Professor Olga Trichtchenko for the summer of 2020. The research was focused on modelling nonlinear waves. I used Maple to generate asymptotic solutions to a family of nonlinear, dispersive differential equations, and I used Python to approximate the solution to the nonlinear Schrodinger equation.

Served customers ice cream, made cones, and kept the place clean. Was promoted to a senior worker, enabling me to close on my own, train new workers, and generally have more responsibility to make sure things ran well.
