Manage a Wendy's franchise conducting over $6,000 worth of transactions each day. Focus on managing labor, supply, food costs, and customer satisfaction to ensure the restaurant is providing high quality service at low prices while maintaining low operating costs to maximize revenue.

I’ve recently completed my Bachelor’s of Arts in Economics, and have had the opportunity to fulfill a variety of roles during my time as a student here.With Delta Sigma Pi, I had the opportunity to serve as the Chancellor for my pledge class and then as Chancellor for the Omicron Phi Chapter for the following semester, helping to transition from face-to-face meetings and into the post-COVID era. I served as the Graphics Coordinator for the Anthropological Society, and have been a member in several other student organizations.

While transitioning out of active duty, I worked to prepare myself for a life post-military, enrolling in college courses, working toward a Private Pilot License.

Served as the Team Leader in charge of all employees in the Medical Section. Responsible for planning and execution of all medical training for 500 employees, including supervisors and managers in other departments. Organized and led meetings specific to the medical section, and participated in the planning process for upper levels of management for events that were not specific to my department. Interpreted guidance from executive managers, and translated requirements into detailed tasks that fulfilled the organizations greater requirements for the long-term.

Oversee the training, morale, and welfare of a wide-variety of personnel, including Army, Air Force, Civilians, from an incredibly diverse range of backgrounds, ages, ethnicities, and education levels (from High School to Doctor!) This also occurred during a furlough period, in which the ingenuity of our entire team was put to the test. We stayed under budget without losing any productivity thanks to the incredible cohesion and absolutely brilliant creativity of everyone there.

Oversaw the training and development of a team of Medics, and served as the liaison between employees and upper-levels of management. Advised management on matters concerning the health and well-being of the workforce, as well as served as a link between local medical assets and the Aid Station, ensuring continuity of care for our patients, and ensuring our Medics had the equipment and training needed to be the best. Helped to develop medical programs in a wide variety of environments, both clinical and austere.

Entry level position as a Driver and Loader on a main battle tank. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the vehicle as well as personal equipment. During this phase of my career, I acquired my first mentors and life-long friends who continue to advise me to this day. It was in this job that I learned the value of organization, how to function within a hierarchy, and what it means to truly be a leader. Yes, there were bad leaders, and I learned a few things on what not to do from them. The lessons that stuck and inspired me when I went into management though came from the leaders who saw me start to stumble and then came and showed me exactly what mistakes I was making. They would give me the ability to be creative, and would underwrite mistakes I made to their bosses, knowing that my growth relied on a process of discovery as well as direct training. The best leaders never allowed me to be a simple automaton, they didn't tell me -what- to think, they showed me that it was okay to think, to solve problems with outside-the-box solutions. Those lessons I carried with me when I became a Medic, and as a result, I have applied their teachings and developed world-class Medics, even though my first job was Tanker.
