• Managed change control for large operational network supporting a portfolio of various projects that performed a variety of functions such as: Chilled water plants, Power plants, Water plants and multiple boilers for steam as well as the metering and control of all these commodities to all the buildings in the six square miles that comprise the on the University of Iowa campus as well as small set of remote locations owned by the campus.• Successfully managed project that migrated 3 each,1 Gig Hirschmann Layer 3 backbone switches to the latest Hirschmann 10 Gig technologies.• Successfully managed project migrating 18 redundant Top Servers away from 18 OPC DA (unsecure protocol) to OPCUA (encrypted protocol).• Successfully managed the removal of 40 blade servers and 10 standalone servers 5 node Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure with level of 3 redundancy for high availability virtualizing of all servers.• Initiated Cyber Security Program and created the core Standard Operating Policies (SOPs), Procedures and Processes to meet the frameworks outlined in NIST 800-83/82, NIST Cybersecurity Framework and the Secure Controls Framework (SCF), NIST 800-53, ISO 27002 and other governmental standards as required.• Successfully met the challenges needed to move the as found cyber security audit score (2018) of 63 to 94.7.• Created and Managed hardware obsolescence and network risk management program. Conducted and scheduled Server Preventive maintenance cGMP environment.• Managed hardware additions to SCADA nodes, maintenance repairs, trouble shooting on equipment when beyond maintenance capability. • Performed duties required for implementation, validation and FDA registration of a prefilled syringe manufacturing line under cGMP 21.11. • Scheduling site acceptance tests, developing functional specifications, and software and user requirements, performing validation tasks and writing documents such as the design qualification for a prefilled syringe line.• Supported maintenance when required with support of 175 PLCs in the factory.
