𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬:• Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas and Sci-kit Learn for data science and machine learning.• NLP with probabilistic models, classification and vector spaces using Python• MATLAB for analysing EEG data and building psychology experiments.• Mathematical modelling in MATLAB e.g. Euler, Finite Difference and Runge-Kutta (4th order) Approximations for different physical systems 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬:• 🧠 Researched whether the brain would show more activity when its expectation is initially subverted as understood under the theory of predictive coding.• 💻 Developed a psychological experiment using PsychToolbox in MATLAB which involved placing a stimulus in the participant’s peripheral vision and either keeping the stimulus or changing it when their eyes landed on it.• 📈 Built a machine learning pipeline which could determine whether the stimuli were animate or inanimate purely from the measured EEG data with an accuracy of approximately 70%.𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐌𝐞 𝐀𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭:I’m a fast and willing learner who is excited to engage with machine learning applications to solve real world problems.
