I have been in leadership positions most of my working life. When I look at the pivotal times of my leadership journey they have always involved strong theme of developing healthy cultures to deliver innovation, transformation and income growth. Getting the very best out of people and seeing them develop has been a real driver in everything I've done. As a qualified coach in leadership and mentoring I have had the opportunity to sit with other senior leaders and really understand where their journey has taken them and where they want to go now. I have started, managed and led businesses that are still delivering on their mission and values to this day. Entrepreneurship and strategic vision are becoming key elements of what will deliver the beneficial changes that people want to see both in society and business, and if we develop and support the cultures for these elements to thrive, we are some way to making real progress.I am currently the Chief Executive of Bridge Support. Bridge is a UK-based provider of mental health and wellbeing services. Wellbeing, recovery and community integration are the founding principles of Bridge. I am passionate about our mission at Bridge and strongly believe in the important role we play in supporting the community. It has been my aim for Bridge to be the best provider of mental health services in Southern England, by ensuring that everyone who is supported by Bridge receives positive benefits in their daily lives. As an organisation, Bridge has many outstanding achievements, all credit to our dedicated staff and stakeholders. We offer mental health and wellbeing support suited to the needs of the individual. This can range from floating support visits within the community, to in-house services across our range of supported housing. We also provide services for forensic mental health issues.I am working with my team on the development of new models of delivering services; social and commercial enterprises, a Recovery College and a range of innovative support and housing options for people who have experienced or continue to live with a mental health problem.I was previously the CEO of a learning disability and mental health charity, I was the elected Lead Governor of Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust for nine years and a Panel Member on Monitor (now NHS Improvement) Independent Advisory Panel. I am also a Trustee of Law for Life and the Association of Mental Health Providers.
