Serve as liaison for 50+ campuses to the District Test Coordinator (DTC). Acting DTC in supervisor’s absence. Oversee the district-wide implementation and training of the College Board’s PSAT 8/9, PSAT NMSQT, School Day SAT, and Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSIA). Assisted in the creation and implementation of digital testing oaths for State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) and End of Course (EOC). Created a process for tracking/scanning documents for the Assessment Department and Campuses with a tracking spreadsheet Collaborated with team members on reviewing past procedures and improving them to become more efficient and user-friendly. Created Google Sheets to pull data from other Google Sheets located in various different locations into one location for efficiency. Attended training provided by the Texas Education Agency (TEA), Regional Education Centers, and testing vendors for DTC’s and testing staff. Collaborated with various departments around the district to gather outside College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) scores, enter the scores into appropriate district software, and assist with data accuracy. Site supervisor for weekend ACT and SAT at Westwood High School where I hire/train/supervise test administrators, organized/distribute/collect/account for test materials, and liaison between staff, students, and the College Board/ACT. Central contact for other site supervisors for weekend ACT and SAT testing. Created and maintained an in-house database for PSAT and School Day SAT. Assisted in the district transition to TestHound. Assisted with looking up STAAR and EOC scores for HB4545 tracking and notification for campuses. Collaborated with Management Information Services (MIS) and the District Counseling Department to gather graduate information to upload and download graduate information to/from the National Student Clearinghouse.

Westwood High School

Oversee Texas Success Initiative (TSI), State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) End of Course (EOC), PSAT, School Day SAT, Advance Placement (AP), Correspondence exams, Credit by Exam (CBE), Exam for Acceleration (EFA), and National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) exams. Keep current on all state and national testing. Analyzed existing systems in place and refined the process. Created pivot tables to utilize staff efficiently. The table showed student names and the number of students who were not testing. Created Google Sheets with teacher and student assignments and figured out how to send individualized emails to the appropriate person to cut down on confusion and increase clarity. Staff morale increased. Created an in-house database to take my spreadsheet of testers and create attendance sheets and seating charts. Collaborated with Special Education Department (SPED) department chair, 504 coordinators/assistant principals, and Language Proficiency Assessment Committee (LPAC)/Emerging Bilingual (EB) Department Chair to confirm and verify accommodations to be in compliance with State and Federal paperwork. Created and presented training to teachers on proper test administration and security procedures. Organized and distributed testing materials. Supervised overall test day activities and troubleshooting issues. Collected and returned completed exams. Kept administration and teachers updated on the status of student’s scores. Other duties - training of ISS teacher, running student ID machine (printing of student ID’s, substitute badges, and club IDs), create and maintaining electronic master schedule (providing formulas to populate reports), organizing homeroom activities, and running reports at the request of teachers and administration. Taught staff members on excel and Google Sheet shortcuts.
