Managing multiple food and service outlets and services located at Addington Raceway. This also included ensuring all functions held at Addington ran smoothly while meeting key KPI targets.I was responsible for leading a large number of function staff (+/- 250) both directly and indirectly control including cleaners to contract cleaners, setup team, duty mangers, and supervisors, front of house staff, sales team and chefs. The role included managing and maintaining financial targets with Sales Team, P&L targets with wage costs and costing to ensure we achieve company goals.Part of my role was also to manage ongoing relationships with suppliers, contractors and customers.A key part of Addington Raceway events means I was directly and heavily involved in ensuring some of New Zealand's largest events ran smoothly and without interruption including NZ Cup and Show Week, Super Rugby, Mitre 10 Cup and All Black tests.I was also tasked to ensure onsite staff held the correct licensing to work events and frequently coordinated with the Christchurch City Council and Christchurch Police to ensure all licensing requirements were met.

The Mill had 36 stores throughout New Zealand, building its success and growth on supplying products that our customers demand, reducing prices over a huge range of liquor brands, and employing friendly and knowledgeable staff.Responsibilities:- Stock Control, ordering stock with best pricing applies in monthly cycle - In store promotions , weekly, fortnightly and monthly - Staff Wages and Turnover Targets- Setting Up Hub Distribution for 5 of the South Island StoresMajor Achievements:- Reducing Shrinkage Cost against monthly targets - Reducing Staff turnover and improving store morale- Having the ability to always looking ahead at ways to improve the way we can do things better and efficiently - Turnover increased for Store. Always ranked in top 3 in the country- Set up a Hub distribution for South Island with Stock Movement- Sales turnover on monthly key products for promotion and winning major display competitions- Customer satisfaction returning to store time after time.

Wonder Wok was a unique spin on the traditional Chinese food court model, providing self serve Chinese food for customers previously never attempted before in Christchurch, paving the way for the many Chinese food court self service models now commonplace in all city malls. We were involved with the Christchurch City Council to help set up a template for Food and hygiene safety for food outlets in Christchurch.
