As a Learning Community Superintendent at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS), I oversee the academic and operational performance from 15-29 schools, serving over 10,000 to 25,000 students and 2,000 staff members. I have been in this role for over four years, leading the implementation of the district's strategic plan, equity framework, and instructional vision.With a Doctor of Education degree in Leadership and Administration from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Master's degree in Administration/Principalship from East Carolina University, I have a strong background in educational theory and practice. I have also been a Principal, an Executive Director, and a Teacher in the rural and urban setting, accumulating over 23 years of experience in primary and secondary education in rural and urban settings.
