The future is bright. Today we are in a much better position than our parents and grandparent to make a difference. Comparatively, each of us has the computational power of a super-computer in our pocket, all the best courses from top universities online, and technological progress that they could only dream of. While not turning a blind eye to the challenges we face today, innovation and entrepreneurship are a driving force for good and it would be people with the right mindset and grit that will solve the challenges of tomorrow and unlock a better future. My goal is to play a small part in this by supporting founders and helping corporations to embody the spirit of innovation. I also believe that if we can be 1% better every day, compounding improvements would take care of the rest.As co-founder and COO at StartupX, I oversee the day-to-day operational functions and also identify how we can use leverage to execute and deliver more impact. We work with founders, corporations, and government agencies to drive innovation and progress.I've launched several ideas and startups throughout the years. Many failed to even take off and I've learned more from the failures than my successes. In 2017, I launched a home-services startup that took off and grew revenues by 110% year-on-year before being acquired in 2020.Prior to this, in what feels like a lifetime ago, I was a program manager delivering IT infrastructure and digital transformation projects at Microsoft and PrudentialOutside of work, I am part of Startup Weekend Singapore since 2016.
