Nodes could be added and removed dynamically by operator. Deployed Oracle Grid Control across all CS regions with full resilience, utilising techniques such as "stretched RAC". Production DBA support, and as part of the Engineering team at CS, developed "best practices" for use in the Production DBA teams.

Provided full database support for transitioning COBOL application from Unisys A-series to IBM AIX. Developed an interface layer (COBOL) and metadata management tool (SQLWindows) to allow COBOL programs to run unchanged on both A-series and AIX.
