Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, Maine, Design-Build Construction Services Building 178 , $42 Million, This is a design-build project consisting of the design, disassembly and reconstruction of a 168,000 SF, 100 foot tall warehouse building on the water at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, Maine, Energy Con. and improvements to Building 92, $17.5 Million, 2013-Present. Scope includes the installation of a solar wall air heating system, energy-efficient HVAC and electrical systems, new curtain wall system, new 2 story 18,000 sf mezzanine that includes office space, bathrooms, locker rooms and meeting rooms. Two 1.6 MW Wind Turbines, Cape Cod AFS, Massachusetts, $8.1 Million, Design and construction of two 1.6 MW wind turbines for the Air Force. Design build activities, including site preparation, turbine erection, electrical systems, interconnection agreement, and start up of the turbines.

Greater Boston Area

Sydney Tar Ponds Solidification and Stabilization Project. $60 million high profile project that entailed the in-situ solidification and stabilization of approximately 570,000 cubic meters of contaminated material and construction of a new 2000 meter long channel. Worked closely with the client, Nova Scotia Environment and Public Works, and Government Services Canada to facilitate the project and resolve public concerns. Offutt AFB, Base Exchange Building Construction. $20mm project to construct a 165,000 square foot (sq ft) shopping center at Offutt AFB. Commended by the Air Force for the smooth coordination with the client in meeting schedule for the Grand Opening. Performance Based Contract for Construction, Operation and Maintenance of Groundwater Treatment Systems, Army Environmental Center, Massachusetts Military Reservation (MMR). Managed three separate task orders to construct groundwater treatment systems at eight different sites with a combined capacity to treat over 1700gpm. One of the sites consisted of a stand-alone 800 gpm system in a 10,000 sf pre-engineered building. Construction on each of the tasks orders was brought in an average of 10% ahead of schedule. The O&M of the systems experienced less than 4% downtime over the 5 year contract period.

New Bedford Harbor Superfund Site OU-1, USACE New England District, TERC, New Bedford, Massachusetts. Managed all site activities on this design-build project that included groundwater, soil and sediment sampling, wetland delineation, cultural resource investigations, water treatment, contaminated soil excavations, CSO installations, and the design-build construction of a 55,000 sf dewatering plant. Managed site activities for up to 70 engineering and construction personnel conducting groundwater, soil, and sediment sampling; wetland delineation; and cultural resource investigations.
