This project’s success resulted in the lifting of their business hold on all other products supplied to Sun Microsystems and the successful negotiation of further business. • Developed a novel dc/dc switching topology which converted an existing ac/dc product’s mechanical assembly into one for use with central office power. This resulted in one patent.• Led the effort to adopt lower cost components from China in other departments.• Developed the first notebook adapters and PC power supplies in a newly formed business unit. • Developed the first, single stage, power-factor correcting ac/dc rectifier using the SEPIC topology at a 300W level.
