After serving for 7 years in the US Air Force, I went to UMass Amherst where I obtained a B.S. in Sustainable Food and Farming. Through my projects, classes, and community, I developed a deep passion and understanding for sustainable practices in every aspect of life.I worked in the brewery industry and learned the processes by which beer is made, and the ways it can be more sustainable. As Lamplighter Brewing Co's Office Manager, I took on the responsibility of obtaining and analyzing sales data, generating weekly and monthly sales reports for the leadership team. I was fascinated by the data portion of my job, and decided to return to school to obtain an M.S. in Business Analytics, focusing on Big Data analysis.
