• Completed over 100 small projects for Finance, reduced the time to complete by an average of 50% by eliminating cycle time in requirements gathering, testing and giving proper direction to the off-shore SAP team.• Solved another 300 issues with no IT intervention (and therefore no addition cost) because I knew how to trouble shoot issues under current constraints and therefore required no technical changes to the system.• Completed a Business Warehouse (BW) / regulatory reporting upgrade in 2013 on time and on budget in spite of the Flood eliminating the testing window originally scheduled. Using my expertise and experience I was able to, with complete confidence, make sure all objects were tested without everyone having to test everything, contracting the time required to test into a week after quarter end was completed.• Completed a rebuild of SAP Security for BW reporting, FI General Accounting, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable without any major issues and reducing the segregation of duties violations from being too much for GRC to count to being measurable and accountable for all necessary violations.• Launched the use of modern BPC technology with a project that automated and stored royalty calculations required for the Government of Alberta. The Excel spreadsheets were stored in BPC with ability to be retrieved later and properly secured to satisfy the auditor requirements. The project was completed on time and on budget.• Created workflows that managed master data changes for Finance including, company codes, banks, general ledger, cost elements, profit centers, cost centers and reporting hierarchies.• Taught classes to over 100 people in SAP FI General Accounting, highlighting the automation in SAP for Finance, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable and reporting options across the various platforms available from SAP. My approval rating based on surveys completed by participants was over 90%.
