I am currently a Process Engineering Manager at the Chandler, AZ manufacturing facilities at Rogers CorporationPrevious to working at Rogers Corporation, I was a Senior Process Engineer at Maxwell Technologies where I worked in electrode manufacturing at the facility in Peoria, AZ.I was the Senior Manager of Engineering, Technology Development for Yulex Corporation where I played a key role in the development of a variety of processes, including a latex coagulation process. I was also currently working on other extraction technologies, and was involved in the training of facility employees and improving operations at the Yulex facility.I began my career in technology development by testing and reporting on Guayule in 2002 for the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) natural rubber laboratory. In 2003, I joined Yulex as a Scientist for Process Development, during which time my steady efforts and technical knowledge resulted in a U.S. patent for the Yulex latex extraction process. From 2003-2006, I led the charge to transition the latex extraction process from a laboratory to a semi-works process. My effective planning contributed to the scale up, process optimization and migration from the lab to the pilot plant from 2006-2009. From 2009-2011, I was responsible for managing the pilot plant while simultaneously being part of the design and engineering team for new facility construction.
