● Oversees day-to-day information system security operations including hardware and software implementations to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and policies. ● Auditing of information systems through the use of Splunk, Nessus, and continuous monitoring operations.● Conducts general user and privileged user training for new users joining program networks and systems covering acceptable use and data transfer agent responsibilities for assured file transfers. ● Evaluates proposed changes or additions to information systems or program networks and advises the information system security manager on security implications. ● Coordinates with network engineering team and systems administration teams to implement security technical implementation guides and conduct reviews before systems are approved for use.

•Serves as the senior network operations supervisor and manages several teams of information technology professionals including: network systems operators, satellite systems operators, microwave systems operators, and multi-channel transmission systems operators.•Trains team leaders in successful team management and equipment management procedures•Operates at the supervisory level to ensure all teams are prepared to meet the challenges of deploying equipment and personnel rapidly across the United States and abroad.•Supervises the deployment and management of NIPR, SIPR, and Commercial IP networks for sites ranging from 20 – 150 users.
