• Managing curricular efforts to design, implement, and study a data-driven decision making (DDDM) professional learning program in faculty who are facilitating active learning small groups • Currently designing (IRB application in process) a mixed-methods convergent case study design grounded in systems theory to examine student and faculty perceptions and use of learner-centered educational opportunities using DDDM practices. The data will be used to inform the university’s DDDM professional learning program

Grounded in my in-depth doctoral research on “Improving Data-Driven (DDDM) Decision Making in Medical Educators,” I took the ambitious leap of envisioning and actualizing a state-of-the-art adaptive learning management system (aLMS). This cutting-edge platform promises transformative outcomes:• Higher student retention through adaptable teaching.• Advanced faculty skills with modern educational tech.• Encouraged evidence-based learning with supportive tech.• Increased student engagement in advanced learning.• Efficient faculty grading using analytics, NLP, and ML.• Infrastructure for pioneering new educational theories.Strategic Initiatives:• Teamed up with West Arete & Techo2, delivering an aLMS prototype for 600+ students and 25 faculty.• Formed a business mentorship team to guide REEL platform.• Worked with Penn State Physician Assistant Program and Caribbean schools for REEL pilots.• Cooperated with Jim Pietropaolo at Penn State's Office of Entrepreneurship for startup support.• Directed a data science team using ML, NLP to align learning goals with content.• Prepared REEL for its Jan 2020 launch in a university, emphasizing DDDM.Achievements:• Led a team for a functional LMS prototype, transitioning to a pilot university's medical program.• Used rapid development methods, resulting in a robust LMS prototype with advanced UI and a research-focused database.• Conducted a trial with the pilot university, showcasing the platform's capability in student tracking.• Obtained $185K seed funding from Ben Franklin Tech Partners, PA.

Since February 2014, I have contributed as an Adjunct Professor, Admissions Committee Member, and now as the Faculty Director in the School of Professional Studies Graduate Program at Northwestern University, specifically in the Online Master of Health Informatics (MHI) program. Promoted to Faculty Director in January 2024, I now oversee the strategic academic and curricular aspects of the program, ensuring excellence in faculty management and student support. My role includes the comprehensive design, implementation, and instruction of several core graduate courses, including Information System Acquisition and Lifecycle, Introduction to Clinical Thinking, Decision Support Systems in Health Care, and the Capstone Thesis Course. As a member of the Admissions Committee Council, I review applicants each term and make decisions regarding their admission to the MHI program. Additionally, as part of the Capstone Advisory Committee, I guide, mentor, and evaluate students' capstone project drafts and final submissions.
