Development of a novel technique for transferring prefabricated graphene FET devices from the surface of silicon dioxide to any arbitrary surface. The new technique eliminates the need to locate single layer graphene via optical microscopy on a target substrate other than 300 nm SiO2 before nano-patterning with electron beam lithography. Electron transport of graphene can be compared before and after transfer.Strontium titanate (STO) is used as the target substrate, both 200 micron thick single crystal and 250 nm thin film grown epitaxially via pulsed laser deposition on niobium doped STO.The unusual gate dependent hysteresis observed in the graphene resistivity is explained by ferroelectric-like surface dipoles at the STO/graphene interface. This behavior persists for all orientations and terminations of the STO surface and at cryogenic temperatures.
