Hello there.My name is Raymond and I work at MGE as a GIS Analyst, providing support and expertise for multiple clients in the worlds of both Forestry and Electrical Operations. I graduated from California State University Chico (CSUC) with a Bachelor's degree in environmental geography with a focus in sustainability. During my time at CSUC I also earned a certificate in geospatial technology to work with remote sensing and geography information systems (GIS). I'm always eager to expand my knowledge and skills and I have a particular interest in data analytics in addition to GIS.Originally from Southern California, I've had the opportunity to live in Northern California and Colorado. I'm passionate about working and studying in the wildland-urban interface, with the goal of creating greener, safer, and more sustainable communities.When I'm not working you can find me immersed in history books or out hiking with my Great Dane, Max.I have expertise in tools like FME, Arcade, Python, SQL, Terra Station, LP360, Power BI, Salesforce, Tableau, Microstation, and various components of ESRI's GIS suite, including Business Analyst, Tapestry Segmentation, ArcGIS Portal, ArcMap, ArcPro, ArcGIS Online, Survey123, and Field Maps.
