I am a first generation Chinese American whose immigrant parents settled in San Francisco, CA. I am also a determined young professional, looking to improve my family's economic stability and contribute to the community of San Francisco. Currently, I am a Year Up Trainee, participating in an intensive and competitive technical training and career development program in their Information Technology track. Through this program, I have gained valuable skills in computer hardware and technical support, which will enable me to troubleshoot and provide effective solutions.Prior to my involvement with Year Up, I served as a Human Resources Assistant at CNG Hardwood Floors. During my time there, I successfully managed and collected labor cost data, generating accurate monthly labor expense reports. I collaborated closely with the project manager to optimize labor allocation and control project costs. Additionally, I took charge of recruitment platforms, scheduling interviews, and ensuring a smooth hiring process. These experiences have honed my skills in data analysis, project coordination, and human resources management.In my role as a Manager at Grocery Outlet, I excelled in conflict resolution and customer service. I resolved customer complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Furthermore, I successfully oversaw the receiving and handling of large product shipments. These responsibilities enhanced my ability to multitask, maintain attention to detail, and provide exceptional customer experiences.
