- Coordinated the operations of the Dulles Terminal, operating effectively as the “CEO” of the terminal; managed staff of 60+ regular (W-2) employees, and 30+ (1099) contract associates- Led the transition of the Terminal to a new facility location, determined the space requirements and directed and approved the plan/build-out for the facility- Reviewed/approved the annual terminal budgets; analyzed results/trends; generated annual revenues of $20M+, produced 38% EBITDA growth in six months after three years of losses- Liaison to 250+ east coast clients; prepared master schedule for secure transportation of High Value Items (HVI) for Dept. of State, Diplomatic Core, foreign governments, major airlines, pharmaceutical companies including CVS and Walgreens and other large international corporations, such as Christie's, Barrett-Jackson, Mercedes, Ferrari and Ducati, from Canada to Florida incorporating flexibility for ad hoc changes in logistics needs- Developed a dynamic schedule resource plan to meet demand, meet/exceed client expectations and stabilize staffing needs for work/life balance- Responsible for conducting regular meetings and audits with the Department of Customs and Department of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms to ensure compliance- Reorganized HR department/rebuilt HR team; instituted training programs for health & safety, sexual harassment, client service, tracking and billing systems, proper documentation procedures, auditing accounts, recordkeeping, and certifications; ensured compliance with OSHA and EPA procedures, as well as federal, state, and local employment regulations
