As the Public Information Coordinator for the SH 288 Managed Lanes project, I help the project team relay important information to the community. I act as a liaison between the SH 288 TxDOT team, the SH 288 Developers, and the community; building a strong and optimistic relationship between the three. It is my responsibility to keep the city, community members, and the media up to date on the project. Through outreach events, communication collateral, in-depth communication plans, and speaking engagements I help keep the public informed and educated on all things SH 288.

Currently lead all corporate and client project-related outreach efforts at award-winning consulting firm. Consult, mentor, and advocate for SMWDBE firms, and facilitate the formation of strategic relationships between large firms and the small business community. Serve as brand, project, and program ambassador. • Provide written and verbal progress reports to Executive Management, Elected Officials, and the public-at-large• Cultivate relationships with clients, large and small business owners, elected officials, community leaders and business development organizations• Research, develop, and facilitate major outreach events and free public training• Gather intelligence on opportunities and upcoming procurements in Harris County and surrounding area• Develop and maintain a 400-SMWDBE firm database• Activate crisis management plans for clients seeking brand repair in the small business community• Stay current on changing Federal Regulations that effect small business contracts

Responsible for the outreach efforts to small and disadvantage businesses on the Houston Light Rail Project. Responsible for the day to day operation of a litigation support (digital printing,copying, coding, scanning, E-Discovery) with revenues of over $2 million per year.
