Rayni Collins's journey has been a colorful path full of creativity, resilience, and a touch of whimsy. From her early days as a budding cartoon artist and jazz trumpet player to her discovery of the enchanting world of dance, Rayni's path has been guided by a passion for expression and exploration.As a self-proclaimed weirdo with a penchant for crafting, Rayni's creative spirit has always been a driving force in her life. It was this innate curiosity and love for the arts that led her to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography from Columbia College in 2008. Throughout her academic journey, she honed her skills on stage, captivating audiences with her dynamic performances.But Rayni's dance career is only half the story. Following her graduation, she embarked on a new chapter, earning a Master of Arts in Dance/Movement Therapy and Counseling from Antioch University New England in 2013. This pivotal moment marked the convergence of her two passions – dance and mental health.For the past eight years, Rayni has dedicated herself to serving as an outpatient therapist in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, she not only provided compassionate care to her clients but also assumed the responsibility of supervising other therapists, guiding and nurturing their professional growth.In March 2022, Rayni took a bold step forward, establishing her online private practice, E-MOTIVE Counseling. Here, she seamlessly blends movement therapy and talk therapy to assist adults in managing their mental health, with a particular focus on sleep health. Through her innovative approach, Rayni empowers her clients to embrace holistic healing and reclaim their sense of balance and well-being.Rayni's impact extends far beyond the therapy room. She is a sought-after speaker, having graced numerous public events with her insights and expertise.
