Growing up I dreamed of becoming a scientist. I knew I wanted to do something in science and got into the science stream in school. But I ended up joining a bank, pursuing studies in Marketing and more recently, digital marketing. In the end it turned out to be the Social Sciences and not Natural Sciences as I had dreamed of as a child, the complete opposite. Life often is filled with unexpected turns, and sometimes these can be blessings. It took me a long time to realise that I really wanted to focus on marketing but once I figured this out, my interest and passion for it grew. Today I am pursuing an MBA in Digital Marketing. My openness and inquisitiveness has allowed me to embrace today’s marketing revolution. I am loving every bit of it and try to learn something new every day. I have worked on countless product campaigns, product launches and branding projects along with helping my employer get onboard the social media train. I love applying what I’ve learnt and I’m not afraid to try new things or challenging existing ways of doing things, as I enjoy a challenge. And when I am not working, I am home being a dad to a soon to be teenager. This experience of fatherhood has absolutely humbled me and throws up its own challenges. I also have a passion for the culinary arts and know my way around the kitchen. My goal is to continue growing and to make a positive impact for the organisations and people I work for or share a relationship with.
