Job SummaryResponsible for leading and managing the construction of the company’s projects as the Company’s primary representative on a job site. Site Superintendent directs and coordinates the work of contractors while maintaining the safety, schedule and quality of the job. As site superintendent reports to the Construction Manager and interacts closely with the Company Project Managers, Accounting and other staff.Primary ActivitiesEnforce safety standards and OSHA at all timesWork with the Project Manager and Construction Manager to conduct project pre-construction planning, create the construction schedule, and determine contractor and labor requirementsServe as primary contact for local permitting officials and inspectorsManage and maintain the construction schedule and two week look-ahead, reporting job status to the Project Manager and Construction ManagerManage and schedule sub-contractor(s), setting goals and timelines for the completion of their tasksProvide documentation of project milestones, enforcing contract provisions for schedule and qualityCoordinate with the Project Manager the ordering and delivery of material and equipmentManage relations with site hosts and property ownersMaintain all sites free from hazards and debris, and ensure complete site cleanliness and quality installation during construction and at the end of each jobEnsure that all closeout activities are completeAssist the Project Manager is the collection and compilation of close-out documentation.Coordinate with the Owner or O&M team the handover the project
