At New York Cares, I'm responsible for processing partner applications and responding to volunteer evaluations. I constantly stay in touch with volunteers who have questions, concerns, or experiences that they'd like to share about their time with New York Cares. Additionally, I staff corporate projects throughout the 5 boroughs on a weekly basis, and ensure that the needs of both the community partner and the volunteers are met.

As a student worker at University Advancement, we are responsible for maintaining the nonprofit funding software, Raiser's Edge. We are responsible for data intake, answering phone calls, helping maintain relationships with alumni, and updating and analyzing records.

• Research and update information on Adelphi University’s alumni database• Catalogue and interpret data using Structured Query Language database software• Communicate with university alumni in order to raise funds for student scholarships

• Collected migration and population data on diamondback terrapin turtles using microchip technology • Removed dangerous plants and obstructions to maintain a safe lab and work area • Sorted and analyzed turtle stool to support demographic assertions of the NY terrapin population
