• At Digital Cyclone (and then Garmin), I did just about everything. I was a Linux / Unix admin, DBA, developer, product manager. Digital Cyclone was almost a casualty of the Dot-com bubble, but we kept it on life.
• Built and managed a Linux server farm that produced regional weather forecasts using the MM5 model
• Created and maintained the CI process (with Jenkins) for building iOS and Android applications such as My-Cast Weather and Garmin Pilot
• Managed app servers (Linux, Solaris + Apache / Tomcat) and Postgres servers
• Evaluated and implemented automated testing, bug tracking and app analytics platforms

I was the first technical hire at Rapid Application Deployment.
