• Provide hands-on and supervisory engineering and logistical support management on the following military aircraft/air vehicles: MV-22B, CH-53D/E, CH-46E, UH-1N, AH-1W, AV-8B, F/A-18C/D/E/F, EA-6B.• Mentor and manage 23 direct managers and 182 technical personnel for multi-faceted avionics and logistics support work centers. Prepare evaluation reports analyzing technician performance, qualifications, leadership, character, personal qualities, and future potential.• Distill information, make sound decisions, and provide direct supervision of department workload priorities including resolution of systems engineering investigations, manpower staffing, training, and on-the-job skills and quality assurance assessments. • Implement and utilize Lean/Six Sigma principles and basic theories of constraint while directing around-the-clock mission critical operations and intermediate level maintenance activities enabling a turnaround time of less than seven days and ready for issue rate of 87% for all aircraft communication, navigation, electrical, and instrument systems’ components.• Facilitate collaborative dialog with outside stakeholders including NAVAIR, engineers, field teams, and fleet units to develop a list of 27 critical V22 wiring harnesses for test set program development on the newly acquired Automatic Wire Test Set. This capability decreased wire harness test time from hours to minutes.• Developed and implemented a plan to integrate Level 3 depot level artisans into Level 2 maintenance to increase site capability for MV-22 generators resulting in $5M cost-avoidance savings. Established a process to capture suspected bad generators from adjacent units, deployed units, and Air Force CV-22s.

• Supervise and direct troubleshooting and maintenance of aircraft components from fixed and rotor wing aircraft to include radar, weapons systems, mission systems, aircraft survivability equipment, electronic countermeasures systems, and flight control systems.• Author various technical documents and presentations for customers and stakeholders on a variety of avionics and technical subjects translating complex ideas into simple terms.• Participate in and present at avionics technical working groups and conferences.• Evaluate the effectiveness of the avionics division and personnel to support a published flight schedule and allocate necessary resources.• Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional stakeholders, contractors, fleet support teams, and manufacturers for support when needed.• Identified requirements and developed and implemented a comprehensive plan of action and milestones project management document outlining 65 specific areas and providing clear execution guidance in order to relocate all avionics repair capability from an overseas location to the United States.• Review service schedules to determine work sequence, methods and crew/equipment requirements.
