Behavioral Health Technician
Current• Accurately collects behavior data • Provide direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce problematic behaviors in home, community, and school settings• Prompts safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors in order to build a repertoire of communication, social interaction, and problem solving skills• Providing parent and caregiver training to ensure consistency and support for behavioral strategies across all environments.• Accurately collect and record data on client behaviors, skills, and progress during therapy sessions to track outcomes and adjust interventions as needed.• Implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to address challenging behaviors in clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disorders.
