Behavioral Health Technician
Current- Accurately collects behavior data
- Provide direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce problematic behaviors in home, community, and school settings
- Prompts safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors in order to build a repertoire of communication, social interaction, and problem solving skills
- Providing parent and caregiver training to ensure consistency and support for behavioral strategies across all environments.
- Accurately collect and record data on client behaviors, skills, and progress during therapy sessions to track outcomes and adjust interventions as needed.
- Implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to address challenging behaviors in clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disorders.
