Before moving into a sales focused role I was an engineer for 5 years at Cisco and spent my college years learning the foundations of what networking is today.This background allows me to bring technical merit to every conversation I have with my customers, but the most exciting part of my job is coming up with creative solutions to solve complex business problems. I've worked with large, global enterprise customers during my entire career at Cisco, helping them think differently and look at challenges from a strategic, big-picture perspective. My team and my customers know I will always be direct and transparent with them. I'm not afraid to tell them when they are wrong or to fight for them when they are right. It's hard work, but Cisco invests in its employees with a people-first culture — a culture that I nurture in my own team. Work/life balance truly is a priority, and there is always enough time for me to burn off steam playing soccer or hanging out with my family and watching my son play one of the many sports he enjoys.
