I have been in my current position since 2006. I began networking and infrastructor building in 1999. Prior to that I had 3 years in the electrical field, residental and industrial with 2 years of classroom/hands-on training. I began working part-time for The SoundSide in the summer of 1999 and I continued to work there until the summer of 2006 in a part-time status. I decided to leave Law Enforcement in a full-time capacity and begin a new career in tele-communications. However I have managed to keep my BLET certification by remaining sworn in different locations during the last 4 years. I have also earned 12 different Nortel, Norstar, NEC and Network + Plus certifications.

All duties of a Law Enforcement Officer in the state of North Carolina. Also supervising other officers, I have been involved with Grant writing for 11 years and working closely witht eh governors highway safety program as well etc...

I started out as a road deputy and got promoted rapidly to Sgt. Then I gained further rank three years later and became a detective. Then Chief Detective for 1 year and was elevated to Chief Deputy at that point. I served Washington County with integrity and honor.
