Mechanical Engineer and Inspector. Perform visual inspections of new and existing construction of commercial and residential buildings. Visual inspections consist of HVAC systems, Fire Protection, SOE, Vibration and Crack monitoring and Energy Code Compliance.Submit reports detailing inspections to ensure compliance with DOB and DEP regulations.  Verified plant drawings for the Con Edison East River Generating Plant by performing a complete walk-down of nearly every system in the plant as specified in the P&ID's. (Piping and Instrumentation drawings) Traced out piping lines and verified electrical components at the East River Generating Plant associated with the lines as reflected on the drawings. Successfully made necessary changes for the East River Generating Plant by updating the drawings with what was missing or recently added to the systems, and then readied the P&ID’s for AutoCAD revisions. Performed and completed tagging of all components and systems in field walk downs per the PI&D’s specifications at the Con Edison Generating Station at 74th Street and 59th Street in New York City Worked with a design team to update the drawing management system for the U.S. POWERGEN Astoria Generating Station in Astoria NY. Verified various power plant system drawings of PI&D’s by performing a complete walk-down of nearly every system in the plant. Traced out piping lines and verified electrical components at the U.S. POWERGEN Astoria Generating Station associated with the lines as reflected on the drawings. Used AutoCAD to make changes to PI&D’s based on field walk downs. Worked with a team of engineers and inputted the entire database of P&ID into a new computer system
