Equipment Maintenance Technician
Current•Day to day coverage of the Powertrain production line equipment: respond to alarms, breakdown, andproduction requests.•Thorough understanding of the use of Tesla's notation system to notate and document recovery, troubleshooting, diagnose and repair of the equipment. Order parts and further communicate with spare parts team regarding parts.•Use of Tesla's documentation system to find drawings, schematics, and EMS's.•Communicate with production associates, leads and supervisors, engineering techs and various other collaborative teams, as well as my peers (Fellow EMTs), supervisors and managers to help mitigate newly diagnosed process and equipment issues.•Fanuc Robotics experience: Recovery, PM, diagnose and repair for robots with programs that rundown bolts, pick and place parts (via gripper or vacuum system), dispense adhesives and clean parts via plasma. Repair and/or replace damaged end effectors, re-teach new positions when necessary.•Diagnose, find root cause, and repair multiple disciplined systems including pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, PLC and Robotics with use of equipment such as but not limited to scanners, sensors,switches, pumps, cylinders, solenoids, servos, and actuators.•Specific equipment that I am familiar with but not limited to; -Fanuc Robots and Robot Controllers.-Allen Bradley PLC & HMIs. -Atlas Copco tools, TPS Controls, Power Focus, Power Macs and Tool Selectors. -Cognex Scanners. -Pneumatic Driven heavy part hoists. -Nordson Dispense Systems.-Cincinnati Test Systems, Leak testers and Fixtures. -Technical Devices Nu/Clean Parts Washers.-Airway Automation Bolt Feeders. -Sick Safety Light Curtains. -Logomat Conveyor Systems. -Dynos (which include a verity of systems; hydraulic clamps, pneumatic cylinders, magnetic sensors, leak test systems, pneumatic pallet lift systems, spline shafts and drivers, servo and actuators, low voltage and high voltage comm connectors, Etc.).
