Raymond A. Sisson, CCIM began his real estate career after graduating from the University of Kansas with a BS Degree in Finance. He specializes in Commercial and Industrial Brokerage in addition to providing a separate Property Management Brokerage service. Ray became involved in the new development of Residential Communities, Retail Shopping Centers and Office Buildings starting in 1972 with the long term vision of developing Mixed Use Properties.Ray received the CCIM designation in 1979. He holds both Kansas and Missouri Broker’s licenses. He was the managing Broker for Sisson Co. Better Homes and Garden Realty for many years, before joining Coldwell Banker General Properties as head of their Commercial division. In 2015, Raymond was named Director of Commercial Services at Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Stein and Summers Real Estate in St. Joseph.Ray is an active member of his Local, State and National Real Estate Associations, member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, and was a charter member of the Kansas City CCIM Chapter. He also served as President of the Local and Kansas City CCIM Chapters, served as Chairman of the Missouri Real Estate Commission under Governor Kit Bond and has been president of both local and state Regional Association of Realtors. Honors received include Broker of the Year from both his local and state associations and Top Coldwell Banker Commercial Agent for the State of Missouri in multiple years.Specialties include Retail Sales and Development, Industrial Sales and related Investment Properties. Other specialties include land assemblage, retail and office development with the inclusion of investment opportunities for clients. Raymond is married to Jeri Burke. He enjoys playing golf and flying airplanes, as well as home maintenance projects.
