Lead a team of multi-national network engineers responsible for network operations and network projects with the focus on designing, implementing, maintaining and documenting the support process required to operate a 24x7 network infrastructure for over 120 global sites and 25 data centers. Responsible for all global managed network services which includes LAN, WAN, data center, wireless, remote access, QoS, WAN optimization, campus/DC security, and monitoringPrimary responsibilities:• Identify and research new technology advancements and conduct evaluations focused on optimizing and improving network configuration, performance, capacity, high availability, and operational efficiency• Establish vision, strategy, and road-maps that align with business priorities for global network infrastructure.• Define and maintain technology standards• Partner with infrastructure service owners to establish and evolve services and technology road-maps• Partner with key vendors to influence future product requirements and enhancements to address business needs.• Manage and mentor team across multiple time zones.• Manage network forecast and budget• Streamlining operational policies and support process • Managing vendors and contract negotiation• Continuously drive to improve network optimization, efficiency and high availability resulting in increased productivity and improved user experience
