Agora.io has built a large-scale RTC PaaS platform, I together with my colleagues aim to provide the best video Quality Of Experience of our RTC service in various network conditions, by design, develop and joint optimize of congestion control algorithms, erasure coding algorithms, hybrid ARQ, layered video coding, simulcast and so on.We have created a new generation joint Source-Channel Erasure Coding algorithm, the algorithm helps to achieve the best video QoE by improving packet loss recovery performance while lowering the end2end delay, through ABTest on our platform, the new algorithm outperforms the conventional Reed-Solomon Codes by a decrease of ~30% over video freeze rate.

I launched a webrtc server to enable Ezviz Cloud with Web interoperability, the server is based on the Janus Gateway, and act as a bridge between web browser and IOT devices manufactured by Ezviz.The server is responsible to initiate the signaling channel(TCP & Websocket) and media flow setup(ICE & DTLS, RTP/RTCP), transcoding(AAC OPUS G711) and relaying(H.264) media to the other side.
