I design and lead bespoke programs for groups wishing to explore the many wonderful art museums in New York City. Most recently, I led a 90 minute inquiry-based tour for a group of 27 Muslim creative professionals through the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Islamic Art wing.

As a lead educator, I facilitate programming and educational experiences in the museum for all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. I lead tours and facilitate art workshops for up to 25 people at a time. I adapt and design programming for our diverse audience, including folks who are blind or low vision, seniors (50 and better!), young children, adults with cognitive disabilities, college students, and more. Every group that comes to the museum has different needs, desires, and goals: my job is to adapt and interpret our content so that each of these groups is served equitably and respectfully.My particular work with college students has led me to propose, design, and now lead Poster House's first ever symposium. Two undergraduates and two graduate students will present their research this fall at Poster House's inaugural symposium, "History in Two Dimensions." Each student has personal support from me throughout their research and presentation process. My goal is to ensure that each student gains the skillset they need to get through the often-opaque academic process of presenting at a symposium or conference. In the future, when they may not get much support for their research, they will have confidence in themselves to present their excellent original research.
